Check sample records and the purpose of the column. Data identifying people can appear in notes, correspondence or comments, even if the field name does not suggest it.
The PESEL detector checks the checksum and the validity of the date. In the measurement described, on random 11-digit strings, adding the date condition reduced false positives from 9.8% to 0.54%. These numbers do not say how much real data is in your database. Hits have to be assessed on the spot.
If the column is not covered by the anonymization profile, add the rule and do a dry run. For a complex schema you can prepare a separate profile.
