Ghost: theme with members and newsletter
Ghost, custom theme with members, newsletter and Portal, vanilla JavaScript only. For publications, newsletters, expert blogs and company magazines where readers subscribe and some content is gated. Based on Source or Casper.
Ghost: no JavaScript, publishing only
Ghost with no JavaScript on the front end. Goal: 100/100/100/100 in Lighthouse mobile, LCP < 1.5 s on 4G, every page readable by every bot. For blogs, documentation, expert and company sites that publish with Ghost's editor but do not need Portal, paid members or comments. Not for a paid publication.
Ghost: Content API behind Astro or Next.js
Ghost as a headless CMS behind a static Astro site (`headless-static/CLAUDE.astro-static.md`) or a Next.js front end (`headless-static/CLAUDE.headless-nextjs.md`). This file covers the Ghost side and the contract between the two; the front-end template covers rendering. Pick it when the editors want Ghost's editor and the front end needs its own stack.
